On 12th May, 2018 the team of Kathmandu School of Law, distributed a set of stationary materials to 50 students studying at different levels at government schools of Fulbari, Buchhakot, ward no. 2, Namobuddha Municipality. With an endeavor to encourage students for better education, the team of KSL raised fund and distributed stationary materials to local students studying in government institution, most of who belonged to underprivileged groups of students in terms of their access to better educational materials. Mr. Sanjeev Dhakal, President of ward no. 2 Namobuddha Municipality also graced the informal program with his presence. Prof. Dr. Yubaraj Sangroula, Executive Director, KSL facilitated Mr. Dhakal during the distribution of stationary materials to the students. He acknowledged the positive efforts made by Kathmandu School of Law, residential campus in the locality of Fulbari. He further stated that “Almost all the students in the locality were mostly from low economic background who were further socially discriminated and marginalized. Their families belonged to ‘Dalit’ community because of which they were socially restricted in terms of their access to better schooling opportunities."
