International Law and Relations Study Centre
Kathmandu School of Law has been participating in many National as well as International Moot Court Competitions since its inception. Every year KSL is able to grasp awards under various category and uplift the status of mooting. Realizing the importance of moot competitions and role of coaches in preparing the mooters, International Law and Relations Study Centre (ILRSC) is looking to hire 6 coaches to guide the moot participants in several International Moot Court Competitions for the year 2018/19.

  1. Stetson International Environment Law Moot Court Competitions
  2. William C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Competitions
  3. Oxford International Media Law Moot Court Competitions
  4. Dr. Prof. NR Madhava Menon SAARC Moot Competitions
  5. Paras Diwan Memorial International Energy Law Moot
  6. Lex Infinitum Dispute Resolution Competition
For the Year
  1. 2018/19
  1. Reasonable allowances will be granted to the coaches.
  2. Great addition to Curriculum Vitae
  1. The coaches are responsible to train the moot participants with basic introduction to International Law
  2. The coaches are responsible to guide the moot participants for national as well as
International Rounds.
  1.  Help the moot participants to draft memorials and prepare for oral arguments.
  2. To determine the participants roles and responsibilities.
  3. To conduct research in order to make strong arguments including oral and written if necessary.
  4. All in all, the presence of the coach is necessary.
Coaches profile: Required characteristics
  1. Proficiency (written and spoken) in English
  2. Analytical thinking; team worker and punctual
  3. Have participated once in the International Moot Court Competitions in and demonstrates substantial interest in the one they desire to coach. 
  4. Proficient in Microsoft Office Related Functions.

  2. The results will be published in the notice board. In addition, ILRSC will contact the selected candidates personally.
  • The interested candidate may apply for the position in any area he/she wants to. But priority will be given to the area which he/she has participated before.
