Brief detail about the program: HRHLD, Kathmandu School of Law organized a seminar on the topic “Scope of interpretation of CEDAW: Protection from Gender-based violence: Case studies”. The students of APMA, LL.M Human Rights, M.A in Human Rights, and B.A.LLB 5th Constitutional law group participated in the program. Prof. Geeta Pathak, Assoc. Prof. Kapil Aryal and Assoc. Prof. Rita Mainaly facilitated as resource persons in the seminar where they discussed on the theoretical part and issues under international human rights law and the mechanism under international and national law. The students also engaged in group work during the seminar.
