Biography

Amritha Viswanath Shenoy (PhD.) is Assistant Professor at Kathmandu School of Law. She pursued Ph.D. from Centre for International Legal Studies, School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University in New Delhi. Her thesis is titled “International Law in Pre-Independent India: From Ancient Times till 1947”. She has received awards such as the Elite Fellowship (2022-23) for teaching International Law at the University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and various distinctions for her academic expertise and active engagement in legal seminars, workshops, and publications. Currently, in her role as Assistant Professor, she shares her expertise with LL.B. and LL.M. students at Kathmandu School of Law.
