Biography

He holds a bachelor in law from Nepal Law Campus, TU and LL.M degree in Human Rights from the University of Hong Kong. He started his teaching journey in 1991. He is a full-time teaching professor at Kathmandu School of law and has also served as convener of Clinical Legal Department.He is Senior advocate and has experience of law practice. He is also a legal advisor for a various company like Janaki Finance Company, Dolakha Hydro Power Company. 
He was an executive board member of  Nepal Bar Association, Janakpur, Nepal from 2000-2002. He was also President of  Nepal Junior chamber International and Centre of Legal Research and Resource Development( CeLRRd).  Under his leadership, he has conducted various research like Analysis and Reform of Criminal Justice System in Nepal,  Evaluation of the Legal Aid for Prisoners and Establishment of National Legal Aid Network etc. 
He is a regular expert/resource person for ESDR- International Winter Residential School and Himalayan Field School.
