Introduction :
One of the evident lacunas hindering the pursuit cum promotion of research based legal excellence in the Nepalese context is the absence of indigenously published high quality journals, which are peer reviewed and worthy enough to add the existing gamut of knowledge in the field.
Realizing the need, the launch of the Kathmandu School of Law Review is one of several actions being undertaken at Kathmandu School of Law, Nepal (“KSL”) to raise the quality of legal and social researches. The Kathmandu School of Law Review (“KSLR”) is the bi-annual flagship journal of KSL. Going through the blind peer review of all submitted manuscripts and adopting collaborative publication process, we are committed in initiating and encouraging a new venture of legal education in Nepal and in the whole south Asian region.
With careful assimilation our role and position as one of Nepal’s premier law school’s journal publisher, we wish to foster a culture where publication is not an end but one of ventures to materialize the quest of quality education, KSL postulates and is practicing for.
KSLR’s ambition is to stand as the must-read category for law schools’ students, advocates, members of judiciary, personnel of international organizations, strategic affairs’ think-tanks, and governmental foreign policy brains-trusts. Our endeavour is to make this journal a harbinger of fresh thinking to solve crucial global problems. We look forward to achieving greater supports from all in nurturing quality scholarship ahead.
