The Business Law and Arbitration Research center (BLARC), Kathmandu School of Law in collaboration with Bharat Raj Upreti Memorial Foundation organized a three days certificate course on ‘Legal and Regulatory Regime on Energy Projects in Nepal. The course focused on imparting a thorough knowledge of contemporary legal and practical issues pertaining to the development of energy projects in Nepal. The sessions focused on analyzing the national laws, policy, foreign investment and the licensing mechanism, taxation policy and market of energy project in Nepal. The program brought together the experts, advocates, investors of the hydropower sector with the students enthusiastic to learn about the regime of energy project in Nepal.

Prof. Kathmandu School of Law), Mr. Narayan Chaulagain (Advocate), Mr. Bhisma Pandit (Operation Officer, IFC), Mr. Anup Raj Upreti (Advocate), Mr. Sudarshan Raj Pandey (FCA), Mr. Sher Singh Bhat (CEO, Kabeli Energy Ltd.) and Mr. Khadga Bista (Executive Director, Millenium Challenge Account) facilitated as resource persons in the program.
