Brief detail about the program: “The Kathmandu Dialogue” is a 10-days International Summer School organized by Kathmandu School of Law as a global and yearly event with an idea to host young International Law and Relations enthusiasts at the lap of the Himalayas where they can discuss, deliberate, debate and find solutions for issues collectively and learn from internationally recognized faculties. It is a platform where the future world leaders first meet and connect through dialogue as friends. This year, KSL hosted the 2nd edition of the Kathmandu Dialogue, 2019 on the theme, ‘The Asian Century-Understanding Geo-Economics and Geo-Politics in Asia’ from 1st-10th July, 2019 at the outreach campus in Namobuddha, Kavre, Nepal. The 2nd Kathmandu Dialogue had 53 delegates from 10 different countries.


The KD Fellow Award, 2019 was awarded to Ms. Pranjali Kanel from Kathmandu School of Law. Mr. Jagannadh Mellacheruvu from India was presented with The KD Spirit of Dialogue Award. Mr. Anmol Marasini from Kathmandu School of Law and Ms. Zeba Farah Haque from BRAC University, Bangladesh received The KD Extemporaneous Award. The Socialization Award was awarded to Mr. Ansh Agal from Symbiosis Law School, India. Mr. Yang Tshering Sherpa from JSW School of Law, Bhutan was awarded with The Best Disciple Award. Ms. Shraddha Khanal from Kathmandu School of Law and Ms. Jiang Tingye from JSW School of Law, Bhutan received The Motivation Award.
