Biography

Dr Laxmi Sapkota currently serves as an Associate Professor at Kathmandu School of Law. She has completed her bachelor's and master's degrees in Business and International Trade Law at KSL and earned her PhD in Intellectual Property Law from the Faculty of Law, Tribhuvan University. She has been a faculty member at KSL since 2069 BS. Dr Sapkota also holds key administrative positions, including Assistant Campus Chief and Head of the Examination Department at Kathmandu School of Law. She teaches Theories of Logic and Legal Reasoning in the BALLB program and Contract Law and Intellectual Property Law in the LLM program. Her academic and research interests include legal drafting, intellectual property law, contract law, company law, international trade, and business law.

Kathmandu School of Law was established in year 2000 as a community-based, non-profit academic institution. KSL is the first institution in the country to initiate 5 year undergraduate degree in Law.
