Biography

Dr. Laxmi Sapkota currently holds the position of Assistant Campus Chief and Associate Professor at Kathmandu School of Law. She has completed her bachelor's and master's in business and international trade law at KSL and also completed her PhD from the Faculty of Law, Tribhuvan University. She has been teaching at KSL for 11 years. Ms. Sapkota is the department head of Examinations. Furthermore, she assumes the role of Coordinator for the Subject Committee specializing in ‘Business and International Trade Law at KSL. She teaches Theories of Logic and Legal Reasoning, Company Law, Intellectual Property Law, and Contract Law. She has been writing journal articles continuously in national and international journals. Also, she has published two books on the areas of the General Concept of Law and Contract Law. She is interested in legal drafting, women's issues, contract law, company law, international trade, and business and intellectual property law.
