Biography
Prof. Hong Kong Rana is the Academic In-charge of Kathmandu School of Law. He has previously worked as the Assistant Campus Chief of Mahendra Multiple Campus, Dharan, a constituent Campus of Tribhuvan University from 1988-1991. He was a member of the Central Marketing Instruction Committee, Tribhuvan University from 1991-1993 and the Chairman of Management Instruction Committee, Mahendra Multiple Campus from 1992-1994. He also served as the President of University Teacher’s Association, Mahendra Multiple Campus Dharan Chapter from 1992-1994.
Prof. Rana was the Executive Chairman of the Royal Nepal Airline Corporation in 1999, which is now renamed as Nepal Airline Corporation. He was the General Manager of Nepal Transport Corporation, a government-owned enterprise responsible for operating Trolley Bus Service (electric bus) in Kathmandu valley, Rope Way from Hetauda to Kathmandu and Janakpur Railways (1994-1995). He has also served as the Member Secretary of High-Level Task Force formed by the Ministry of Transport, Government of Nepal to strengthen Sajha Yatayat in 1996 and later in 1997 as the General Manager of Sajha Yatayat, a Highly recognized public transport company operated under the principles of Cooperative.
