Scholarship Opportunities:
Kathmandu School of Law is dedicated to supporting academic excellence and making quality legal education accessible to all. As per the Purbanchal University guidelines, each year KSL provides merit-based and need-based scholarships to 10% of its total admiitted students, along with fellowships that promote research,leadership, and social engagement.
KSL provides Merit-Based Scholarships for students demonstrating academic excellence and Need-Based Scholarships for individuals from underrepresented communities.
These include the Dalit, Madhesi, Pahadi, Indigenous and Marginalized communities as well as those injured in the People’s Movement, economically disadvantaged individuals, women, Muslims and single mothers.
We strive to make sure that no student with outstanding academic potential is deterred from studying at KSL due to their background, personal circumstances, or financial situation.
Fellowship Programs:
KSL also offers a variety of student support fellowships designed to foster professional growth alongside academic pursuits. The school also offers fellowships that support students who wish to conduct in-depth research, participate in legal advocacy, and learn through practical experiences. They encourage students to explore justice from practical, intellectual and community-based perspectives—whether by conducting empirical research or working directly with affected populations.

- Jeena Maharjan Student Advocacy practice Stipend Fellowship.
These fellowships provide students with practical experience through empirical research, internships and teaching opportunities.
In-campus Internship Opportunities
In addition, KSL provides a range of student support fellowships that help students develop professionally while pursuing their academic goals. The school also offers in-campus internship opportunities through its research centers, legal clinics, and publications, giving students hands-on experience alongside their studies.
