Professor Christof Heyns & Professor Madhav Acharya Nepal School Moots on Human Rights
Kathmandu School of Law successfully organized the Professor Christof Heyns and Professor Madhav Prasad Acharya Memorial Moot Court Competition as a joint initiative of KSL and the Global Campus of Human Rights on 9th and 10th May 2022 at the main campus and the outreach campus.
The moot open to all the school/colleges in Nepal who have legal studies in their high school curriculum, saw participation from 12 law colleges in Nepal. The participating teams were from inside the valley and outside the valley this year. The 12 teams were assigned with the tutors by the organizers. The tutors were from a pool of undergraduate and postgraduate students from all over Nepal who previously participated in National and International Moot Court Competitions. The tutors guided the team of high school students with the basic tenants of legal research and oral skills.
KMC Bagbazar (Team 106) composed of Prapti Sapkota and Swikriti Mishra won the competition with Uniglobe Secondary School (Team 110) composed Dipisha Shrestha and Shubhashree Pandey came in second.
