Two Days Training Course on Contract Drafting
Kathmandu School of Law completed the two-day training course on Contract Drafting on the 15 and 16 of Jestha, 2079 (29 and 30 May) at Kathmandu School of Law. The Kathmandu School of Law Alumni Association organized the program in collaboration with Infinity Foundation. As per the requirement of the course and the subject itself, thirty students from B.A.LL.B Fourth Year were selected for participation in the program.
Different experts from different Law Firms and corporate entities were introduced at the event as the resource persons for different sessions where they provided the theoretical knowledge and the practical and problem-solving techniques while drafting different contracts or agreements as per their nature. Assoc. Prof. Mukesh Dhungana and Asst. Prof. Rubin Shrestha coordinated this event on behalf of the Kathmandu School of Law. The resource persons for the sessions were Adv. Megha Raj Pokharel, Adv. Narayan Chaulagain (Infinity & Partners), Adv. Tilak Bikram Pandey (Pioneer Law Associates), Adv. Nishika Sharma (Ncell Pvt. Ltd.) and Adv. Mukesh Dhungana (Kathmandu School of Law).
The training course included lecture sessions, group discussions and workshop sessions o the end of each day. The participants were divided into different subgroups and had to draft different agreements and contracts as per the assigned problem. Each participant was made to contribute to the work assigned, and students were seen performing the assigned task.
The program ended with the certificate distribution program, followed by closing remarks from the Executive Director of Kathmandu School of Law, Prof. Dr. Yubaraj Sangroula.
