3rd Edition of Nepal School Moots on Human Rights Completed Succesfully
With the unwavering support from the Global Campus of Human Rights and the Centre for Human Rights, University of Pretoria, Kathmandu School of Law successfully organized the third edition of Professor Christof Hyens and Professor Madhav Prasad Acharya Memorial Moot Court Competition. The two-day event took place on the 21st and 22nd of July along with the participation from nine high schools across Nepal.
The competition comprised two distinct phases—a written submission followed by the oral rounds. After the written submissions, they advanced to the preliminary rounds which took place at the main campus. From these preliminary rounds, the top four teams were selected to advance to the more challenging advanced rounds. Finally, two teams emerged as the finalists and earned the opportunity to compete in the championship rounds after rigorous rounds and impressive performances.
Kathmandu Model Secondary School, Balkumari won the competition with Uniglobe Secondary School coming in second!
