Professors Geeta Pathak Sangroula and Amritha V. Shenoy Deliver Papers at International Colloquium
On March 9th and 10th, 2024, Professor Geeta Pathak Sangroula and Assistant Professor Amritha V. Shenoy presented their research at the two-day International Colloquium hosted by West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences. The event, held at Hotel Westin in Kolkata, focused on the theme 'Legal Reforms in BIMSTEC Member-States: Looking Ahead by Drawing Lessons from the Past and the Present.'
Professor Geeta's paper delved into the Development of Human Rights in Nepal, while Assistant Professor Amritha explored Combatting Climate Change: A TWAIL Perspective from Nepal. The colloquium attracted academics primarily from Bangladesh, Myanmar, Thailand, India, Australia, Nepal, and Sri Lanka, fostering rich discussions and insights into legal reforms across the BIMSTEC region.
