In a demonstration of its social commitment, the Kathmandu School of Law (KSL) has reached out to assist those affected by the devastating fires in the Mahadeva Rural Municipality of Saptari and Bishnupur Rural Municipality of Sarlahi districts, located in the Madhesh Province.
In an act of solidarity, the institution provided aid to 67 families in Saptari and 70 families in Sarlahi, comprising essential relief materials. Led by Associate Professor Gyanu Gautam, who also serves as the Coordinator of the Clinical Law Department, along with a team of eight students, KSL facilitated the distribution of necessities such as clothing, utensils, medications, stationery, and other crucial supplies directly to the fire-affected families.
The distribution process was conducted in collaboration with local representatives and security personnel, ensuring the efficient and transparent delivery of aid to those in need.
