During the Visit of Prof. Dr. Yubaraj Sangroula  on 9th July 2024 to Civil Aviation University of China (CAUC), Tianjin, China his two books Decolonizing Jurisprudence in Asian Context and Decolonization of Constitutionalism has been appreciated by the library of the University and further been placed at the most precious bookshelves of the University. These two books have highly contributed in showcasing the true essence of the Asian Jurisprudence of Law and Justice and provides speculation with no Eurocentric insertion. The Book Decolonizing Jurisprudence on Asian Context represents the rationality reflected in the Asian Jurisprudence which has been undermined from the time of Colonization. This book attempts to give a sketch of the Decolonized Legal and Judicial Systems with broader South Asian and Chinese system of Law and Justice. The Book has significantly exemplified the fundamental errors, misjudgments or prejudicially presented Narrative of Asian Jurisprudence by the Colonial Visitors and has discouraged fabricated and corrupted source of information. Consisting of 20 Chapters with Comparative Approach it has analyzed the Roman and Common Law Systems that had the slants of Western Racial, Continental and Hegemonic Attitude perceiving other countries than Europe. Hence the book disregards the saying of Joseph Borrell who states “Europe as Garden and Rest of the World as Jungle” and contributes to Decolonizing Nepali and South Asian understanding of Jurisprudence that eventually results in the contextualization of Jurisprudence.

Similarly, the book Decolonizing Constitutionalism aids in providing the Legal Realization and tools needed in context of Developing Countries and how it differs from the European Understanding of Law and Legal Culture. This book exemplifies how in Asian Context the Law is measure of ensuring happiness of people rather than a manipulation for governing them. Consisted of 13 Chapters it is initiated from a comprehensive psychology of Human Beings, Society and the Constitution then Post Austin development of Western Jurisprudence and Colonization and destructive strategies of West within Vedic traditions of Law and Legal Philosophy, this book critically evaluates the guided Western Constitutional Jurisprudence and principles of Interpretation that is embodied in the Constitution of South Asia and Nepal which has not been suitable in terms of social construction and social factors. History of Nepal’s Constitutional development is also highlighted in this book. Both of the Books are not a content for Anti West Pedagogy but the drive to contextualize Legal Education and Scholarship and strengthen institution by examining fundamental relevance of South Asia and its wisdom.
