APMA Inaugural Session
Kathmandu School of Law welcomed its 2022 cohort of the Master's Programme in Human Rights and Democratisation in Asia Pacific (APMA).We are hosting students from France, Indonesia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Philippines and South Korea for the Regional Semester taught in KSL, albeit online this year. Prof. Yubaraj Sangroula welcomed the cohort highlighting the need to contextualize human rights to understand the concepts of human rights and democratization. Prof. Kapil Shrestha pointed out the celebration of humanity and diversity that is sought in the APMA classes while giving his remarks. The inauguration was closed with remarks from Prof. Geeta Pathak Sangroula stressing on the need of contextual and participatory teaching and learning for better understanding of human rights and democratization. Assoc. Prof Pradeep Pathak also shared his experience as an MHRD (APMA) alumni. The session was facilitated by Ms Puja Silwal, Ms Pranjali Kanel and Ms Ashlesha Joshi
